DRINKWELL PET FOUNTAIN

Many cats prefer running water. The DRINKWELL PET FOUNTAIN filters and aerates continuously moving water to keep it much fresher than standing bowl water. It satisfies the urge for running water and so helps eliminate jumping on counters in search of dripping faucets. Even cats who don't jump on counters to drink from faucets may drink more water using the fountain. Why is this important? The larger Reservoir, when filled with the fountain, holds a capacity of 1 gallon of pure water for kitties to enjoy.  This container is interchangeable with the cover already in use for the smaller Reservoir which, with the fountain has a 12 cup capacity. 
 
This is great for the multicat household or for a household with a small dog that is drinking the smaller Reservoir dry.  It also enables the owner to take a longer weekend without worrying about their furbabies getting thirsty or just not having to refill it quite so often.

OPERATION:

  • Fill the Drinkwell with water and plug in to begin continuous re-circulation
  • Add water to the bowl as needed.
  • Water first falls onto a ramp in the bowl which reduces the noise and splash of falling water. Yet the flowing action still breaks the surface tension of the bowl water to draw in oxygen from the air and
    aerate the water. Aerated water tastes fresher. You can see it working by the tiny bubbles it creates.

Scoopwell Litter Scooper is back!     $10.95 

The new Scoopwell.....a litter scooper.....and I like it.  It works great in the boxes that are used by my RagaMuffin and my Maine Coons....3 big cats!

It has stainless steel screens of two sizes that removes the small debris other scoops leave behind.  The handle is a soft rubber which makes for a nice grip.  There is a reinforced stainless steel scraping edge that is great for removing stuck-on waste.

I don't usually show articles on this site for other animals but this time I am making an exception.  This is the Drinkwell "Big Dog" Pet Fountain .   I thought some of you might be interested in it.
It has over 2 gallons of capacity (288oz./8.5L)! 
The five inch bowl wall helps to keep the water in the bowl. and it has rubber feet to prevent it from sliding.
It uses the same charcoal filter as the Original Drinkwell Pet Fountain.
There is a fill level indicator to remind you to add more water.
When I talked with them, I asked if it would be good for our furbabies and was told that the five inch height would make it difficult for an average cat but a large cat could probably use it.
